Hermes Safety & Quality Management has been offering advanced trainings in functional safety for more than 5 years.

Our portfolio of classroom trainings covers a range of different standards, including

Comprehensive range of trainings in functional safety

Hermes Safety & Quality Management has been offering trainings in functional safety for more than 5 years.

Over the years, our portfolio of classroom trainings grew to the stately size of 20 different trainings.

A number of trainings is based on role-based knowledge transfer, otherwise we also offer specific advanced trainings for important aspects.

Customer specific tailoring of our trainings

We gladly prepare specific trainings for our customers. To do that, we use a standardized questionnaire, which helps us to determine the specific training need and from this define the training targets and necessary training contents very rapidly.

  • ISO 26262 - Basic knowledge
    Training target: 

    You obtain an overview of the normative requirements of the ISO 26262 in all phases of development and its connection to production as well as maintenance and decommissioning of products. You understand the process model of the ISO 26262 and the requested methods. The training is substantiated with practical examples. After the successful completion of the training the participants are able to understand the standard and adjust their tasks to it.

    All individuals working along the safety lifecycle.

  • ISO 26262 - System
    Training target:

    The training aims at imparting the normative requirements regarding methods for identification and documentation of safety requirements at system level as well as their implementation into functional and technical safety concepts on the basis of practical examples.

    Participants: 

    System engineers

    Duration:

    16 hours

  • ISO 26262 - Electronics
    Training target:

    The training aims at imparting the normative requirements for the development of the electronics with functional safety, for their implementation, for the creation of metrics and for the interaction with other project roles on the basis of practical examples.

    Electronic engineers

  • ISO 26262 - Software
    Training target:

    The training aims at imparting the normative requirements for the software development and their implementation as well as for the interaction with other project roles on the basis of practical examples.

  • ISO 26262 - Testing
    Training target:

    The training aims at imparting the normative requirements for the safety-related testing (test management, testing, test equipment) on the basis of practical examples.

  • ISO 26262 - Production
    Training target:

    The training aims at imparting the normative requirements for production, its monitoring and the analysis of field data as well as the interaction with other project roles on the basis of practical examples.

    Quality planners in production, process planners in production

  • ISO 26262 - Safety analysis
    Training target:

    The training aims at imparting the normative requirements to the safety analyses of the project on the basis of practical examples.

    Participants: 

    FMEA moderators, FTA moderators, safety managers, system engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers

    Duration:

    16 hours

  • ISO 26262 - Verification
    Training target:

    The training aims at imparting the normative requirements for the various review techniques as well as the scale of reviews in a project on the basis of practical examples.

    Participants:

    Quality planners, safety managers, system engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers

    Duration:

    8 hours

  • ISO 26262 - Fault tree analysis
    Training target:

    The training aims at imparting knowledge on the method “Fault Tree Analysis” on the basis of practical examples.

    Safety managers, system engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers, FTA moderators, FMEA moderators

    Duration:

    8 hours

  • ISO 26262 - Requirements
    Training target:

    The training aims at imparting methods for creating, refining and deriving testable safety requirements at all integration levels on the basis of practical examples.
